Make a product inactive

You may want to make a product inactive if it was already used in OnBalance but you will no longer buy or sell it, or if you may sell the product again in the future.

  1. From the company setup menu, choose Products & Services.
  2. Click the product you want to make inactive.
  3. Mark the Make product inactive checkbox.
  4. Click Save.

Notes

  • When you make a product inactive, that product will no longer appear in the list of products in the Products & Services screen by default. Also, the inactive product will not appear in the Product/Service Name field in the New Sale screen or the Invoice # screen.
  • To view inactive products, mark the Include Inactive checkbox in the Products & Services screen. Inactive products appear in italicized text in the list.
  • To reactivate a product, click the product, clear the Make product inactive checkbox, and click Save.
  1. Tap More > Products & Services > product name.
  2. Tap Active > Save.
