Set up a Stripe account to accept online payments

You can accept online payment of invoices generated through OnBalance to allow your customers to securely and easily pay their balances. Once your Stripe account is connected to OnBalance, your customers will have the option to pay invoices online through Stripe whenever you send them an invoice. In addition to paying with a credit card, your customers can pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Microsoft Pay on their mobile device, or with a saved credit card in their browser, for an even quicker and easier payment.

Notes


  1. From the company setup menu, choose Sales Options.
  2. In the Online Payments section, click Connect to Stripe.
  3. Read and accept the Stripe license agreement.
  4. In the screen that opens, do one of the following.
    • If you already have an account with Stripe, click Sign in with Stripe to connect and enter your Stripe credentials to link OnBalance with your Stripe account.
    • If you do not have an account with Stripe, click the Sign up link, and enter the required information.

  1. Tap > Settings > Invoice and Sales Options.
  2. In the Online Payments section, click Set Up Stripe to sign in or create your Stripe account.
  3. Read and accept the Stripe license agreement.
  4. Enter your Stripe credentials to link OnBalance with your Stripe account.
