Touch ID / Fingerprint Authentication or Face ID (Mobile)

Note: Touch ID / Fingerprint Authentication and Face ID are available only for mobile devices that support these features.

You can secure access to the OnBalance app by setting up Touch ID / Fingerprint authentication or Face ID.

Enable Touch ID or Face ID when you set up the app

When you set up your app, you will be prompted about using either your fingerprint or Face ID to secure the app. If you choose to do this, you will be prompted to set up a passcode.

Follow the prompts to set up your passcode.

Note: Once you set up your passcode, you will need to use your Touch ID / Fingerprint Authentication or Face ID to open the app. If your Touch ID / Fingerprint Authentication or Face ID does not work, you can use your passcode.

Enable Touch ID or Face ID after you set up the app

To set up Touch ID / Fingerprint Authentication or Face ID after you set up your app, do the following.

Touch ID

Tap > Use Touch ID, turn on the Use Touch ID or Fingerprint Lock switch, and follow the prompts.

Note: When you enable Touch ID / Fingerprint Authentication, any person with fingerprint access to the device can also open the app.

Face ID

To set up Face ID after you set up your app, tap > Use Face ID, turn on the Use Face ID switch, and follow the prompts.

Disable Touch ID or Face ID

Touch ID

Tap > Touch ID, confirm the passcode, and turn off the Use Touch ID or Fingerprint Lock switch.

Face ID

Tap > Face ID, confirm the passcode, and turn off the Use Face ID switch.

The availability of some or all of these features depends on your OnBalance bundle.
