Disconnect a financial account from bank feeds

You may want to disconnect an account from bank feeds if, for example, you no longer use the account.

Notes

  • If you disconnect an account from bank feeds, you cannot retrieve transactions from that financial account, and OnBalance will no longer import transactions from that account.
  • You can delete an account only if the account has no associated transactions. If the account has associated transactions, navigate to Transactions, filter the transactions by financial institution, and then delete each transaction associated with the account you want to delete.
  1. In the Financial Accounts screen, click the account you want to disconnect from bank feeds.
  2. In the Edit Financial Account panel, click Disconnect Account.
  3. At the prompt, click Disconnect.

Notes

  • If you have more than one account with a financial institution and you disconnect one of the accounts from bank feeds, your other accounts with the financial institution will stay connected, if those accounts were already connected to bank feeds.
  • If you want to reconnect the account to bank feeds, you must add a new financial account and then repeat the steps in Connect OnBalance to financial accounts for bank feeds. The next import of bank feeds will bring in transactions that were not previously imported for this account.
  1. In the Financial Accounts screen, tap the account you want to disconnect from bank feeds.
  2. In the Edit Account screen, tap Disconnect Account.
  3. Tap Delete.
  4. At the prompt, tap Yes.

The availability of some or all of these features depends on your OnBalance bundle.
